The FRAME MATE is a patented needlework accessory designed to be placed in your lap to hold your hoops and other types of needlework frames. The FRAME MATE supports your hoop or frame, up off your lap, freeing both your hands to work on your project -- not holding the hoop! The smooth round base slides easily on your lap allowing you to rotate your work in any direction.

The FRAME MATE can be adjusted to hold 12 to 18 inch round hoops, 12X20 to 12X27 oval hoops as well as all types square quilt and needlework frames.

Simply loosen the center nut and slide the center pivot block in or out to fit the hoop. Tree Velcro strips come with each FRAME MATE which are to be placed on your hop of frame. These strips fasten your hoop to the Velcro covered  pivot blocks. This Velcro system holds securely yet lets you use one FRAME MATE base for several different types and sizes of hoops! The pivot posts can easily be removed for travel.

Each FRAME MATE is made of smooth lacquered Oak .

The hoop is attached to the stand using a hook and loop material which comes supplied with the Hoop Mate.
